We do not ask for payment details on this website.
3. Legal basis
- Replying to your message: your request and, where the law asks for it, your consent.
- Giving you classes: the agreement between you and us.
- Keeping the website safe: our legitimate interest in protecting our service.
4. How long we keep it
- Messages from people who do not become students: up to 12 months.
- Student accounts: while you study with us, and for 24 months after your last activity. Then we delete or anonymise them.
- IP addresses used for protection: a few minutes to a few hours.
5. Who can see your data
Your teachers can see your student data. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising. We use service providers to run the website, such as hosting and email. They only process data for us and under our instructions. If a provider is outside your country, we use the safeguards the law requires.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- show you the data we have about you;
- correct it;
- delete it;
- limit how we use it, or object to it;
- give it to you in a format you can reuse.
Write to [[email protected]]. We reply within one month. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
7. Children
If a student is a child, a parent or guardian should write to us first and agree to the account. If you think a child has sent us data without a parent knowing, write to us and we will delete it.
8. Cookies
We only use cookies that the website needs. Read our cookie policy.
9. Security
Login codes are stored in a protected form that nobody on our team can read. Access to student data is limited to teachers.
10. Changes
If we change this policy, we change the date at the top. For big changes we tell our students.
